The New Law!

President Biden signed into law the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARP) on March 11, 2021.  ARP makes significant improvements in access to and affordability of health insurance coverages through the Marketplace, known as ObamaCare by increasing eligibility for financial assistance to help pay for Health Insurance through the Marketplace

The new law lowers premiums for most people who are now enrolled in a Marketplace plan and expand access to financial assistance for more many more consumers.

Under the American Rescue Plan many people who buy their own health insurance on the Marketplace will become eligible to receive increased tax credits to reduce their monthly premiums. Starting April 1, 2021, consumers will be able to take advantage of these increased savings and lower costs for their Health Insurance.

Premiums after these new savings will decrease, on average, by $50 per person per month or by $85 per policy per month. According to the statistics; four out of five enrollees will be able find a Health Insurance Plan for $10.00 or less/month after NEW INCREASED premium tax credits, and over 50% will be able to find a Silver plan for $10.00 per month if they qualify!
